These are the crazy things my 2 year olds are saying these days. Let me tell you. . . 2 has it's challenges, but watching my children grow into kids that can communicate, and watching them become little people is the most amazing thing I've ever experienced.
TT - Me do it big self! (Translation - I'll do it myself because I'm a big girl)
Nur - My do it!!! (Translation - I'll do it myself because I am clearly a big boy)
Nur - TT timeout! (Translation - Mama, I know you didn't see what just happened, but TT just hit me over the head and deserves punishment)
TT - Baba at work. Making monies. (Translation - Baba isn't home right now, and not home always means at work)
TT - Jungle Book? Lion King? Caillou? Juice? (First words out of her mouth most mornings)
Nur - Sleep good mama. Num nums. Peanut butter toast. (First words of his mouth most mornings)
Nur and TT - Choo choo trains. Grandma! tracks. No scared choo choos! (Translation - I saw a train with grandma and the train was on railroad tracks, and Grandma said we didn't need to be scared)
TT - Mama girl. TT Girl. Nur boy. Baba boy! (Translation - Mama and TT are girls, and Nur and Baba are boys)
Nur - Baba silly! (No translation needed, right?)
TT - TT Scared (Hmm. . . not sure what she's scared of)
TT - Me no like night night. (Translation - I'd rather stay up and watch TV all night with mama)
Just a few of the adorable things that come out of their mouths on a daily basis.

2 is such a great age! It's so funny. And even funnier the way their minds work. :)
Mine say a lot of the same phrases!
Addison says, "Addison big girl", a lot!
Lauren says, "Daddy work" or "daddy outside".
First things they say getting up? "Up, Me first! (enter big huge tantrum from whomever doesn't get their diaper changed first. EVERY day!) Diaper! Then it's "juice", "berries". "gokurt (yogurt)", "George" Curious George.
They both point at us and say, "funny" or "silly" when we laugh!
Sweet, sweet kiddos! Several times a day, after Emma or Kate have done or said something, I think, "oh, got to write it down." Yeah, that happens about 5% of the time! So good for you!
That's really impressive that they are both saying so much, especially Nur not starting out with English.
I hope I never forget this stuff too. This language development stuff is THE best!
Hysterical!! Nur's speech/language skills impress the pants off of this SLP!! They're both so adorable!
