I am enjoying learning more about the personalities of Nur and TT. Everyday, I feel like I get to know them a little better, and they have so many specific things about their personalities. Such indviduals these two are!
When Nur gets up in the morning and I go and get him, he looks at me, and says, "sleep good!" As I change his diaper, he names all the foods that he wants to eat for breakfast. "Oatmeal, Cereal, Banana Bread, Toast." This boy wakes up with food on his mind.
TT will be 2 in just over 2 weeks, and each morning when she wakes up, I need to make sure to bring a sippy of juice in with me. I mean, she demands a juice sippy first thing. She won't eat immediately, but she absolutely needs that juice!!! (And it's actually mostly water with a little bit of juice)
These two have started bossing each other around. It's hilarious and challenging all at once. Nur can be found saying, "TT, no!" And TT can often be found saying, "Nur time out!" They also have cute little conversations as well. I'm also trying to get them to use their words instead of whining. (Oh, will the whining never end!) So in the words of TT when I told her to use her words, she said, "Sissy, no pushing!" It was enduring. :)
TT demands pretties in her hair almost daily. I can't do anything more fancy that pigtails, but our nanny does fancy braids and stuff on TT and it looks so cute.
TT doesn't use her nuki at all for the nanny, and the second I walk in the door from work, she starts yelling "Nuki, Nuki, Nuki!" According to Nur's speech therapist, TT doesn't have a Nukie problem, I do. (There may be some truth in that statement)
Nur now spontaneously says I love you. Seriously the sweetest thing ever!
On a walk around the neighborhood the other day, TT was belting out a song. (She breaks out in songs constantly) She was screaming at the top of her lungs, "One, Two, Buckle My Shoe. . . " Nur was highly annoyed and started screaming at the top of his lungs, "No TT. No. Be Quiet." Ahh. . . that made for a very unpeaceful walk.
I was so scared that once my kiddos became toddlers, neither would have time for mama cuddles, but TT especially still cuddles so much. This girl is almost 2, yet she will stop everything and sit with me, with her head rested on my shoulder, and play with my hair. I love that I'm still getting cuddles.
We've started a breakfast hair routine. Both Nur and TT have crazy curls, so as they eat, I pull out the detangler spray, leave in conditioner and the comb. It is a process! Wow!
Just a few things Nur and TT are doing these days. Everything about them enriches my life in so many ways.

Ohmygosh I love it! "PRETTIES!!! Does she then periodically take them out to look at them? My Addison does. :)
Mine don't use the passie or "pappies" at the sitter's, unless they are napping. While here, it's a LOT. Sigh.
I can't wait until mine say, I love you. How incredibly sweet that must be!

I think one of the best things of having a blog or journal is being able to document the little things in life. We may not remember these daily things in a few years but it will be so wonderful to read again someday and remember. Happy early Bday, TT!
