6.25.2009 - One of the best days of our lives! We filled out our adoption application, mailed in our non-refundable application fee, and began the adoption process.
7.1.2009 - Accepted with a local adoption agency.
7.14.2009 - Attended our first adoption class.
7.27.2009 - Mailed in application for the referring agency.
7.28.2009 - Mailed in our I-600A to the Citizenship and Immigration Services.
7.31.2009 - Sent in a TON of paperwork to agency. Physician reports, petition for child, background study, fingerprints., etc. 8.11.2009 - Our first homestudy meeting with our assigned social worker.
9.2.2009 - CIS fingerprints for both T and Leah
9.10.2009 - 2nd visit with social worker
10.1.2009 - CIS Approval
10.26.2009 - Mailed Dossier to Adoption Agency
10.30.2009 - Found out I was pregnant
11.12.2009 - WAITLIST for Adoption.
2.11.2010 - Found out I was pregnant WITH a girl
5.4.2010 - Referral of a baby boy!
7.6.2010 - Gave birth to a baby girl we named TT
8.5.2010 - Passed court! Nur is officially our son!
10.14.2010 - Embassy Appointment in Ethiopia
10.17.2010 - Nur arrives home!!!
