Living in the Present

Today I am choosing to live in the present.
Tomorrow could bring heartache and sadness,
but I cannot neglect today because I am worrying
about tomorrow.
Today I will focus on how blessed I am. Today I
am experiencing a dream come true.
It could all be gone tomorrow. But, I must enjoy this today.
I must let go of the things I cannot control, and trust that
whatever happens, is supposed to happen.
I must trust that someone is looking out for me and what's best.
Today I rid myself of the constant worry that suffocates me.
Today I will let myself smile and give thanks, instead of being fearful
of it all being taken away from me.
Because today I am blessed.

So true! Your post actually brought tears to my eyes because it helped me realize that I am blessed and need to forget about what has happened to me the last two months and realize that things happen for a reason and I am blessed today with what I DO have. Sometimes that is so easy to forget when we are dealing with any type of grief. Thanks for this post.

You truly are sweetie. Stay in the moment as long as you can. I hope the moment lasts for a long time to come.

Living in the moment is really the only way to go. We are powerless to influence the past or predict the future; this moment is really all we truly have!!!
