T has booked his airline ticket! He is going to Ethiopia in just a couple weeks, and will get to meet Nur. It's all so surreal really! I miss him like crazy, and he's not even gone yet. I worry that I'm putting so much on him. I mean, he has to go to Ethiopia alone to meet our son. That just doesn't sound fair to me. Everytime I tell him this, he reassures me that it will be okay and that he is happy to do it. Still. . . I wish I could be with him, but I know I must be here.
All we can bring to Nur is a stuffed animal and a photo album, so I really must start getting that stuff ready for him. I'm also going to send T with a couple different sized outfits, so when we do go for the embassy appointment to bring him home, we know approximately what size clothes to bring for him. (I've heard of so many people getting to Ethiopia and having the complete wrong sizes of clothing)
Everyday I'm feeling a little better. Everyday I realize how blessed I am to be in the position I am, and I am constantly thanking God for these blessings. It WILL be okay. We CAN do this. And we WILL do this. Very very soon.

You are so precious and I'm going to need to know what size Kahlil is also!! I'm so glad you're feeling better, I can't imagine the whirlwind your hormones are putting you through (just doesn't seem fair!!). I'm so freaking excited T is going to meet your son and so soon!!!! I have tears in my eyes thinking about it!
It is all going to work out just perfectly and y'all are going to be ok, and you are just going to look at it all and know that it was God's perfect timing and be in even more awe than you are now!
That said, can we see more pictures of Miss Scarlett (and I did just say that with a southern accent just like Gone with the Wind!)?

Praising God for progress! :) The different outfits are a really good idea! We didn't have as much of an issue with that the first time as we did the second time. Poor little E was swimming in his clothes.

Will be praying for you guys as T travels to meet Khalil. I think I'd probably feel the same way as you do about sending my hubby on such a significant trip without me, but the way you and T have adapted to best take care of your family will be a wonderful story to tell someday :)

thats awesome! yes normally you need to go smaller on the outfits, and certain brands like carter run big. don't apologize to him he is soooo lucky he gets to go, tell him to take lots and lots of pictures.

Thinking of you! So excited that T is headed over soon. I can only imagine how hard this all is on you but know that eventually you will look back and see how wonderful it all is, despite the frustration of timing. ;) Take care of that beautiful little girl!
