Her closet, full of cuteness
Bumbo. . . Full of receiving blankets to keep her nice and swaddled
Dresser, full of clothes and full of my mess
Changing table, with drawers full of little diapers and shelves full of blankets
The crib
Bookshelf, full of books, toys and soft things
We are nearly done with Nur's room also. There are still a couple finishing touches I would like to put on the room, but I wanted to share pictures of what the room looks like at the moment, because it's nearly finished.
Some clothes in his closet. We'll get him a lot more when we see him and really know what size he's wearing.
These rooms have definitely been keeping T and I busy. We love to walk by them many times a day. And if T can't find me in the home, it's a sure bet that I'm sitting in one of these rooms, going through closets, and just looking at the rooms, imagining what it will be like when they are both filled with our children. It will be a dream come true.

Your nurseries look so lovely. Now you need to fill them with your precious babies - you will have so much fun!!
ENJOY!!

So many goodies... Great job u guys!
I love the rooms! Especially the blue - but I'm a sucker for blue walls :). I've always said, no matter if we have a boy or girl I want to paint the room blue!
they are both just wonderful, I know exactly what you mean when you spend time in them. When we started IVF I went ahead and painted the room since I wouldn't want to paint while pregnant, so anyway obviousley that was not an issue. As we waited and waited for Maya to come home I would just sit in there as well, it was depressing when I would have to get rid of clothes that would no longer fit becasue the adoptin kept dragging on. I also loved to buy little things here and ther for her at least it made it seem real like yes I relaly did have a daughter.
Beautiful!!!
Adorable!!!!
Soooo cute! Very exciting!
Yea! You have accomplished so much :) I can't wait to see sweet babies in those rooms....soon :)
I posted a clip on my blog of a family from Memphis trip to Ethiopia to bring home their son Tommy. Take a peek if you get a minute.
Hugs and Much Love as you journey on!
they're just wonderful! i can't wait to see your little ones in their rooms!
They both look beautiful! You are ready...bring on the babies! :)
It all looks wonderful, Leah! Our boy rooms are very similar. We did blue walls with white furniture and white trim. I'm happy with it. We still have A LOT to do to make it complete. So exciting!
Emily - I hope you are planning on showing us all nursery pictures when you are done. I really want to see your boy's room. :)
So cute! I love your color choices - I love that you went with Lime for the girl, and a less traditional blue for Khalil. So bright and cheerful!
Love them!!!!
Great nurseries, Leah! Now...just add babies :-) Any day now, right...?
You've done a great job on both of the rooms!
They look stellar, Leah! :) I can see all of your and T's hard work paid off. I cracked up when I saw the Rooney poster, too. I usually forward your posts to N to read, but I think I will hold back on this one because I don't want to give him any inspiration for nursery decor, haha. (Does it weird you out to know that we sometimes refer to you guys like we know you IRL? Hahaha...)
It doesn't weird me out at all. :) I am CONSTANTLY referring to my blog friends as my friends, and T is always wondering who all these friends are of mine that he's never met. Hee hee. :)
I think both rooms look really great. I think it's wise that you didn't get too many clothes for your son because of size issues. I think you will be amazed how fast the babies will out grow their clothes.
Love it all. That big chair in Khalil's room looks extra comfy. It will get a lot of use.
Beautiful! Can not wait for the kids to be in them! I love the colors! Try to enjoy the last week or so of waiting.
Wow, they both look great!! I love the paint colors you chose for their rooms, too. You are ready for your babies, mama. :) They'll be here before you know it!
Oh my they are beautiful!!!!! My eyes just brimmed with tears, knowing all of the love that was put into each of these rooms, so individual and so special! Can't wait to meet your girl next week (or sooner!). Please post pics asap! Sending you so many prayers for a safe, happy, healthy delivery and complete bliss in your home with your baby girl there!!! Oh, I'm sooo freaking excited for y'all!!! I'm just giddy!
You are so ready for these kids. I remember when I got to the point where I felt like I was ready. I used to spend time just hanging out in the nursery too. They will be put to good use soon!
Both rooms look amazing. Can't wait to see them with your kiddos smiling faces.
They look beautiful! Cannot wait to see them filled with those babies :-)
They look so wonderful! Love the pictures!
